www.windynation.com This is a short video that was sent to us by one of our customers testers. The video is of five 24 inch TurboTorque blades powering a permanent magnet DC Leeson motor in 10-14 mph wind. These blades are virtually silent! Half way through the video, you can even hear the birds chirp! Do not be fooled by the video camera. The blades are spinning so fast that they are spinning at the same speed as the frame rate of the camera, which makes it appear like the blades are not spinning. @Steevo11 No I have not. I have experimented with many car alternator turbines. I am also an installer for wind and solar. The best small turbine I have found so far is wind max.
Watch what you buy. Lot’s of scams. Please see mt video’s
Thanks

@leamyvideo Thanks – really wanted to make sure it wasn’t the blades themselves that made all that noise. Have you purchased from these guys at Windynation? I’ve did quite a bit of research on DIY wind generators and so far have come up with these being the best blades around.

@Steevo11 Yes, it is the wind blowing thru the mic on the camera.

The static you are hearing is from the wind blowing into the microphone. It gives a pretty good indication about how quiet the blades are, even in some good winds.

I’m wondering, what is that static in the background? Is that the sound of the blades or general mic static? Anybody know?
